Bio: Dr. Carcache is an Assistant Professor at FIU’s Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine. He joined the faculty following his fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Jackson Health System/ University of Miami where his main interest of study was in the area of autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Carcache is trained in the management of child, adolescent, and adult psychiatric disorders.  Dr. Carcache specializes in the psychiatric care of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders who may also have accompanying conditions, such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and many other psychiatric conditions. He is active in the teaching of medical students and other professionals in the field of psychiatry, especially the psychiatric care of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders.
