Bio: Dr. Rothe is Professor of Psychiatry& Behavioral Health and Public Health at FIU and is an internationally renowned expert on the psychiatric problems affecting immigrants and refugees, a topic about which he has written extensively and for which he has received national awards. He is board certified in adult, child and adolescent, as well as forensic (medical-legal) psychiatry and is also trained as a psychoanalyst. Dr.. Rothe specializes in treating patients with complex psychiatric conditions who have doubts about their current diagnosis and wish to have a second opinion about their condition and their current treatments.
