Bio: Amanda Moore is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and a graduate from Florida Atlantic University’s Masters of Counselor Education program. Amanda also holds a Psychology degree from the University of West Florida and has two minors in Child Welfare and Substance Abuse. Amanda has extensive experience in providing counseling to adults and adolescents presenting with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief and loss, anger, parenting issues, family conflict, career, and relationship issues. She also provides evaluations and counseling to individuals who are seeking bariatric surgery or who are looking for continued support after their surgery. Amanda works as a collaborative partner to help you discover the answers to your current life problems. Her approach is a combination of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapies. This combination allows Amanda to tailor her counseling to each client individually and to focus on helping clients create positive change in their lives. Amanda’s style is warm, interactive, and flexible which creates a safe and comfortable environment for clients to work through life’s challenges.
