FIU Health is pleased to announce that Marc E. Csete, MD, MBA, FCCP has joined and is now accepting new patients at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice, located at the Modesto Maidique Campus, PG-5 Ground Floor, 885 SW 109th Avenue, Ste. 131.  

Dr. Csete (pronounced Chet-ta) is a distinguished physician who has made exceptional contributions in the field of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. His extensive work in the field has afforded him recognition from some of the most prestigious organizations including: The American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Florida Thoracic Society, Florida Medical Association, and Florida Physicians Association. Dr. Csete was recognized as one of South Florida’s Top Doctors in Pulmonary Medicine by South Florida CEO magazine for 2002-2003.

Dr. Csete attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his Internship and Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He completed his specialty training as a Fellow in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. In addition, he earned an Executive MBA from the University of Miami Graduate Business School. Dr. Csete holds faculty teaching appointments at both Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine, and also serves as the Director of Intensive Care Units and Physician Advisor at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Csete is a published author with many pulmonary publications in leading medical journals including: The American Review of Respiratory Disease, The European Respiratory Journal, and Respiratory Physiology.
