The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine’s Faculty Group Practice continues to expand, adding convenience and benefits for our university community. For more than a year, FIU Health physicians and staff have been sharing their wealth of experience and commitment to providing state-of-the-art, comprehensive care to their patients at the Modesto Maidique Campus.

As a way to expand its reach to patients who live in northern Miami-Dade or in Broward, on November 1^st FIU Health opened a second group practice in association with Broward Health. The new practice will initially focus on providing outpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents and adults. Board certified psychiatrists Leonard Gralnik, MD, PhD and Christopher L. La Riche, MD are now accepting appointments, which can be scheduled by calling 954.523.2727.  The practice is located on the campus of Broward Health Medical Center at 1600 S. Andrews Avenue, Suite 1090 in Fort Lauderdale.

The office is now open for appointments on the following days and times:

• Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
