There’s a new advantage to being a Panther alumni. It’s called the “Panther Care Advantage Program”.  The program, open to alumni and their families, affords expedited access to world-class healthcare at the on-campus faculty group practice, FIU Health.The program was officially launched last week at the FIU Health facility in PG 5.

More than 100 alumni and medical faculty, including HWCOM Dean, Dr. John Rock, were on hand for the special alumni reception.  

Dr. Fernando Valverde, CEO of FIU Health explained the major benefits of the “concierge” program including: same day appointments for primary care, priority appointments with FIU Health specialists, and expedited access to other physicians affiliated with the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

Enrollment in the Panther Care Advantage Program is complimentary to all members of the FIU Alumni Association from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013.
