The FIU Academic Health Center Health Care Network (HCN) and FIU HEALTH Faculty Group Practice (FGP) is pleased to partner with the University’s Human Resources Department to present the FIU Premier Care program, which is designed to help faculty and staff who need help with:

• Navigating through the health care environment and health insurance world when faced with the need to make decisions regarding care when they or a dependent have a new or chronic disease or condition.
• Learning about available health insurance plans and University resources and/or
• Coordinating the transition of care and transferring of medical records for individuals when changing their health care provider due to a new, chronic or serious medical condition.

The free program is specifically designed to provide guidance to the FIU community, not just during the annual open enrollment period but throughout the year as needed.

Please note that due to privacy laws, the FIU-HCN and FGP staff cannot contact an individual's physician or other provider of care about medical care, bills and/or authorizations unless that individual is a patient of the FIU HEALTH Faculty Group Practice. Please consider the FIU HEALTH Faculty Group Practice on the Modesto Maidique campus to serve as your health care provider.
